Welcome to Alistair Redfern Psychology!
I am a registered psychologist working with adults experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, low mood, trauma-related difficulties, emotional regulation challenges, and stress associated with life transitions. I take a collaborative and non-judgemental approach to therapy, with a focus on helping people feel supported, understood, and empowered to make changes that are meaningful to them.
My work is grounded in evidence-based practice, and I primarily draw from approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation Therapy (EMDR), informed by trauma-aware, neuroaffirming, and skills-based principles. Therapy is flexible and individualised, and we work at a pace that feels manageable, focusing on what is most important to you.
